Movie Review: "The Campaign"

The Campaign

The Campaign is a 2012 comedy, directed by Jay Roach, released August 10, 2012, starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. In this movie, two men run for congress in North Carolina district. They are Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) a long-term congressman and Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis) a tourism director. Marty Huggins volunteer to run for congress in his district. At first, Marty was not ready to run for the position, but with the help of his father's political connections, he become a big rival against Brady for the upcoming election.  On the eve for the upcoming election, Cam Brady becomes very competitive with his Marty. As election comes closer, Brady and Huggins insults at each other and it turns into one of the deadliest campaign in the district. They ruin each other's campaign and attend different religions just to get their votes. After watching this movie, I find that my stomach hurts from non-stop laughing. I find this movie has its moments and  it did made my night! I would give a 7 /10 stars. Audience will definitely find it hysterical because of how they punch in political satire in this movie.
